DIY Workshops

Women working on a woodworking project in a bright, industrial-style workshop with exposed brick walls, large windows, and wooden floors.
A woman with glasses and tattoos on her arm is smiling and making peace signs with both hands in an indoor woodworking workshop. In the background, two other women are working at a table with tools and wood pieces. The workshop has wooden floors, tables, and exposed ceiling pipes.

Let’s do this.

In an effort to provide a safe, judgement free space for women and members of the LQBTQ community to learn about skilled trades, dollHOUSE has started a series of DIY Workshops!

We have created a variety of modules that will take participants from the basics of planning a renovation, design & aesthetics, paint and wallpaper, all the way through to skilled trades such as trim carpentry, tiling, drywalling, taping and flooring. The starting modules focus on providing participants with a beginners knowledge of power tools (Power Tools: 101), through to more advanced tools (Power Tools: 102).

dollHOUSE is aiming to host these workshops on a monthly basis, or as demand allows!
